About WIS
A young school with a big heart
Established in 2020, Wisdom International School is a private school in the Sinkor neighbourhood of Monrovia. We ensure a fun learning environment where every opportunity is taken to develop each child's self-confidence, knowledge and skills.
Our story
Built for the children of Monrovia
WIS was founded on a simple belief: children learn best when they love coming to school. From our campus on Russell Avenue, we offer Nursery, Kindergarten and Grades 1–12 under the direction of excellent qualified teachers.
Our curriculum encourages children to be creative. Whether it is a science experiment, a traditional dance rehearsal, a planting day in the school garden or a relay on sports day, every activity is a chance for a child to discover what they can do — and to be proud of it.
We are proudly rooted in Liberia and open to the world. Our students celebrate Liberian heritage on stage, and our school partners with international missions in Monrovia on cultural and youth programmes.

WIS opens its doors
Wisdom International School is established on Russell Avenue, 11th Street in Sinkor, welcoming its first Nursery and primary students.
Growing
A full journey to Grade 12
The school grows to serve children from Nursery and Kindergarten all the way through Grade 12, with a curriculum built around creativity and confidence.

Culture on stage
Cultural showcases celebrating Liberian heritage, annual sports meets and festive celebrations become the heartbeat of school life.
